Dr. Andrew Jackson is the Department Chair of Foreign Language at Seymour High School in Seymour, TN. He teaches Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Contemporary Issues, and Government. Along with these duties, he also coaches Seymour High School's Boys and Girls Bowling teams and Scholars' Bowl team. He is the head sponsor of the International Club and International Traveler's Club. He also helps sponsor the Beta Club, history club, Teen Board, and National Honors Society.
He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2010, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He continued his education by earning a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Carson-Newman University in 2012. an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Carson-Newman in 2015, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Carson-Newman in 2016.
Andrew is married to Jennifer Jackson, who is also a teacher. They have three young children, Gavin, AJ, and Peyton.
